'DWTS' Week 2 Recap: Another Pair Bid Farewell in Las Vegas Night

In the Tuesday, October 2 episode, the stars of upcoming spin-off 'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors' took the stage alongside hosts Jordan Fisher and Fankie Muniz.

AceShowbiz - Following Monday, October 1 episode of New York City Night, the contestants of "Dancing with the Stars" season 27 were now heading to Sin City in Tuesday, October 2 episode. In the Las Vegas-inspired night, the stars danced their way to the ballroom to impress judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.

First taking up the stage were Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke, who danced a Foxtrot to "Why Don't You Do Right?" by Peggy Lee. All the judges loved the routine with Carrie Ann dubbing the sultry performance "Yummy, yummy, yummy!" They got 26 points, bringing his score to 52 out of 60.

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson followed it up with a Tango to "Ashes" by Celine Dion. The pair were showered with praises by the judges, though Len had something to say about Milo's technique. Tying with Juan Pablo, Milo earned a 26. With that his combined score was also 52 points.

Meanwhile, Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev did a Quickstep to "Luck Be a Lady", live performed by Donny Osmond. As the judges gave them a 19, their two-night total was 37 out of 60.

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten opted for a sexy Salsa to "Booty" by Jennifer Lopez feat. Iggy Azalea. The judges loved their perfomance, praising them for being "bendy" and "bootylicious." They got a 24, making their total score a 49 out of 60.

Performing a Jive to "King Creole" by Elvis Presley were John Schneider and Emma Slater. Carrie Ann criticized John's arm posture, but aside from that, the judges liked the routine. They earned 20 points that night, bringing their score to 43 points.

Following the performance of the cast of "Dancing with the Stars: Juniors" alongside hosts Jordan Fisher and Frankie Muniz, DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold took the stage to dance a Quickstep to "Ladies Man" by Boyz II Men. The judges didn't seem to be much impressed, though they got a relatively high score with a 23. Their two-night score was 47 points.

Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile and Jenna Johnson did a Jazz to "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers that night. Carrie Ann noted that Joe improved a lot. Joe earned a 18, making his two-night total 35 out of 60, the lowest score of all the couples.

Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe performed an energetic Jive to "Heat Wave" by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas. The judges loved the sass and style in the routine, giving them a 24. With that, her score is 48 points after being combined with the previous night's score.

Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess did a Quickstep to Sammy Davis Jr.'s "That Old Black Magic". The judges advised Bobby to tone down his energy levels before giving him a 19 out of 30 for a two-night total of 39 out of 60.

Nancy McKeon and Valentin Chmerkovskiy later danced a Paso Doble to "Storm from KA" by Cirque du Soleil. Carrie Ann loved the powerful performance. The pair got a 20, making their two-night total of 41 out of 60.

Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong brought "Circus" to the stage. Len dubbed it a "knockout performance." The singer got a 26 for a two-night total of 52 out of 60, putting her in a three-way tie for the top spot on the leaderboard.

Rounding the night were Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber. The pair offered a Samba to "Copacabana (At the Copa)" by Barry Manilow. It was such a soul-warming performance which earned them a 24. Their two-night score was 46 out of 60.

It was time to learn who had to go home in the week 2. John & Emma and Danelle & Artem were put in jeopardy. However, it was later announced that Danelle was eliminated. "Thank you for everything, it's been amazing," Danelle told her pro partner Artem after the elimination.
