AceShowbiz - The music video for Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled's collaborative track "I Believe" is here for viewing pleasure. The two musicians unveiled the visuals on March 7, hours after teasing it on "Good Morning America". The track serves as the soundtrack to "A Wrinkle in Time".
The music video opens with Demi donning a stunning red gown while belting out the song against a gorgeous backdrop of lush grass and blue skies. Scenes from the movie are also featured in the clip, showing how Meg (Storm Reid) and Calvin (Levi Miller) enter the fairytale world.
Khaled appears towards the end of the clip, spitting his bars in a majestic field. Demi is seen beside the record producer, adding harmonization. The end of the clip features the 42-year-old DJ rhyming, "To succeed, you must believe/ I believe/ A wrinkle in time."
Besides Demi and Khaled, the soundtrack album to the Disney film features songs by Sia Furler, Kehlani and Chloe x Halle. The effort also features a score by "Game of Thrones" composer Ramin Djawadi. Prior to this, Sade released her own contribution, "Flower of the Universe". It marked her first new song in seven years.
Directed by Ava DuVernay, "A Wrinkle in Time" is an epic adventure which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl's transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one's individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one's own light.
Starring opposite Storm and Levi are Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Oprah Winfrey. While Reese plays Mrs. Whatsit, the former daytime talk show host takes on the role of Mrs. Which. Mindy, meanwhile, plays Mrs. Who. "A Wrinkle in Time" is due out March 9 in U.S. theaters.
