Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are as close as ever. Celebrating her son Apollo's 4th birthday, the couple decided to dress up as "Scooby-Doo" characters Daphne Blake and Shaggy Rogers. The songstress took to Instagram Stories on Sunday, February 25 to share footage of the epic birthday party.

One of the snaps which was shared on the photo-sharing platform saw the couple leaning towards each other for an adorable selfie. Gwen teamed her red wig with a lavender headband. She also sported Daphne's iconic purple dress and a lime green scarf. Meanwhile, Blake donned a frizzy wig and a green shirt to portray the perpetually hungry Shaggy.

Another picture saw the 48-year-old songstress taking a selfie with the birthday boy. Apollo was seen looking away from the camera as he held a snack in his hand. He looked adorable in a Scooby-Doo costume.

At the party, Apollo's friends gathered at the couple's backyard to watch a puppet show performed by members of Bob Baker's Marrionette Theater. At one point, a Scooby mascot stopped by the party and had fun with the guests. Among them was Blake, who could be seen in a video hugging the mascot as Gwen laughed while recording the moment.

A birthday party will not be complete without a birthday cake. Thus, Gwen prepared not one, but three birthday cakes for her youngest son. In another video which the songstress shared, the kid guests could be seen enjoying the colorful cakes indoor.

Apollo is the son whom Gwen shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Gwen and the Bush lead singer tied the knot in September 2002. The No Doubt lead vocalist filed for divorce from Gavin on August 3, 2015, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Their divorce was finalized on April 8, 2016.
