The 'Teen Mom' star says she tested positive THC, the chemical found in cannabis, after giving birth to her third child in January last year.

AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans has confirmed rumors circulating online after the birth of her daughter Ensley Jolie Eason. The MTV reality TV star admitted she was using drugs while she was pregnant with her third child, who is her first child together with husband David Eason.
In a recent interview on Vince Russo's "The Brand" podcast, she admitted, "I'm not going to lie about that. I tested positive for THC, and Ensley did not test positive. I did." THC is the chemical found in cannabis.
She explained, "So [Child Protective Services] were like-I was in the hospital-they said, 'Did you smoke when you were pregnant?' I said, 'I did within the past 30 days. I said I have really bad esophageal spasms and I throw up every 5 minutes, I can't even eat.' And they said, 'OK, some moms do that. We are not here to judge, we are writing down your information.' "
Jenelle said Child Protective Services carried out wellness checks after she gave birth to her daughter and took her home. "After I had Ensley, they said CPS will just come by to do a [wellness] check since you tested positive," she revealed. "They came and did a checkup, and everything is fine. They closed the case."
But CPS kept coming to her place for other reasons. "CPS has been here like 30 times, not just for that, but for haters online saying that I abuse my kids. So they came and checked up on that," she recalled.
The "Teen Mom" star went on clearing up the rumors, saying that she's not using drugs anymore. "First of all if I were on drugs I wouldn't be able to sit here in the morning and get the kids ready and eat healthily. Or I'd be losing a lot of weight," she said.
Jenelle previously opened up about her drug abuse issue in her book "Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom". She wrote that she once used heroin "four or five times a day" during the worst part of her addiction.
While she wouldn't "glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much," the mother of three admitted her "first trip was amazing." She additionally wrote in the book, "Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. I was hooked."
Jenelle also has two sons, Jace and Kaiser Orion Griffith, from previous relationships.
