AceShowbiz - Marilyn Manson surely has it tough these days. Following his bizarre onstage meltdown, the rocker has been accused of sexual harassment and making racist comment while visiting the set of "House M.D." years ago.
Charlyne Yi, one of the actresses on the FOX medical drama, took to Twitter over the weekend to recall an unpleasant incident involving Manson. "He came on set to visit because he was a huge fan of the show and he harassed just about every woman asking us if we were going to scissor, rhino & called me a China man," Yi tweeted.
"It's so triggering to see people come up on the internet who have harassed you," she added. "And then when you talk about the incidents you become known as the person tied to the harasser. And that's just your name from now on. It almost overrides who you are."
The actress immediately received backlash after posting the tweets, and some Manson fans even wished her die. "People are sick. Sincerely," Yi tweeted in response to the backlash. "People obsessed with Marilyn Manson telling me that racism and sexual harassment is okay. You know what? You can all go f**k off and educate your hearts. Grow the f**k up. I grow bored with tolerance and passiveness for this BS."
Yi deleted her Twitter account afterward.
The accusation came after Manson abruptly ended his New York show following an apparent meltdown onstage. During the show, Manson threw his microphone, performed with his back to the crowd and pushed over an amp. He eventually walked offstage after claiming the fans didn't love him.
The incident prompted comedian Jim Breuer to mock the rocker during his show at The Paramount in Huntington on February 17. "Well, I can guarantee you this. Tonight is going to be longer than the Marilyn Manson show," he said. "That poor guy... Oh God. That was a disaster!"
Breuer then imitated Manson, stumbling around the stage and mumbling with his back to the crowd. After that, he turned around and yelled to the crowd, "You people are nothing! I'm not even going to show you my contacts."
