Daley and Black started dating in 2013, shortly before the bronze medalist came out as bisexual in a YouTube video. "My life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great," he said of Black without mentioning his name. "That someone is a guy. It did take me by surprise a little bit. I still fancy girls."

The couple got engaged in 2015 and tied the knot in May 2017 in at Bovey Castle Hotel in Devon, England. Shortly after the marriage, Daley expressed interest in having children with the "Milk" screenwriter.

"We're not planning to have children immediately, but we do want them in the future," he said in an interview. "I've always been a family person so I've always wanted kids, and I know Lance does, too. I don't know how many -- an army of kids, a whole diving team. We're both lucky to have supportive families, and we want to share that with our own children."

Black also opened up about his desire to have children with Daley. "We were so busy making all these plans -- we both wanted to have children; we both wanted to build a home of our own someday," Black said. "I draw, so I was sketching little plans for houses on cliffs overlooking oceans, while Tom watched over my shoulder -- it was a very grown-up version of playing house."
