Listen to Bella Thorne's 'Midnight Sun' Soundtrack 'Burn So Bright'

The uplifting anthem, which is one of the five songs that the former Disney star contributes for the tearjerker movie, finds her rhyming over acoustic instrument.

AceShowbiz - After the lukewarm reception of her 2014 single "Call It Whatever", Bella Thorne decided to scrap her debut album because she didn't want to make "auto-tuned bad music." While fans think that the former Disney star won't release any new music again, it appears that Bella still has some interest in music as she released a song entitled "Burn So Bright" on January 18.

The track was first premiered on Just Jared, but fans can now listen to it on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. The song itself is an uplifting anthem with a massive, sing-along chorus. "Hey! We burn so bright with making other people come to life," Bella sings over acoustic instruments. "Hey! The darkest light can't stop you and me tonight."

"Burn So Bright" is one of the five new songs that Bella contributes for her upcoming movie "Midnight Sun". The plot of the movie follows the life of 17-year-old Katie Price (Bella), who is sheltered at home since childhood as she has a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. Having only her father Jack (Rob Riggle) for company, Katie's world opens up after dark when she ventures outside to play her guitar.

One night, her dreams come true when she's noticed and asked out by her longtime crush Charlie (Patrick Schwarzenegger), whom she's secretly watched from her bedroom window for years. Katie's risk to sunlight grows and she's presented with the gut-wrenching dilemma of whether she can live a normal life with her newfound soul mate.

Directed by Scott Speer with a script provided by Eric Kirsten, the romantic drama is scheduled to arrive in theaters across the nation on March 23 along with the soundtrack album. Ahead of the release, Open Road Fims released the first trailer for the movie last month. It features a scene that shows how Katie and Charlie slowly but surely become closer.
