Kim Kardashian Shuts Down That Kylie Jenner Surrogate Theory, Explains Cryptic LV 'Baby-Name' Post

The new mom of three takes to her website to subtly squash the swirling theory that her half-sister was her surrogate by defining explicitly that the carrier was none of her famous family members.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian pretty much shut down the theory that her half-sister Kylie Jenner was her surrogate on Thursday, January 18 in a blog entry on her website/app. The 37-year-old reality TV star, who welcomed her third child, a baby girl, with husband Kanye West via surrogate on January 15, shared the posted titled "The Truth About My Pregnancy Decision", in which she opened up about "what it was like not carrying my own baby."

"After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier," Kim wrote, before defining explicitly that the carrier was none of her famous family members. "Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to," she explained.

"A traditional surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father's sperm and then carries the baby to term," she continued. "Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye's. You can either choose someone that you know or you can go through an agency, like Kanye and I did."

The KKW Beauty owner went on admitting that using a surrogate was hard for her, although she needed to because of the danger a third pregnancy would medically pose for her and her child. "It was so hard to not carry my own child, especially after I carried North and Saint," she wrote. "Our gestational carrier gave us the greatest gift one could give," she added, before revealing, "The connection with our baby came instantly and it's as if she was with us the whole time."

That same day, Kim also took her time to address another theory surrounding her newborn baby. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star previously sparked speculation that her baby's name was inspired by designer label Louis Vuitton after she posted on Instagram a photo of the brand's iconic print.

Explaining the real meaning behind the post, Kim wrote on Twitter, "NOPE! It was Kim Jones last show and wanted to snap a LV pic." She added, "How amazing did Naomi & Kate look?!" referring to Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss who reunited on the runway at Kim Jones' final fall 2018 menswear show in Paris, where the two modeled belted logo trench coats with lace-up combat boots.
