The nearly five-minute video, which is inspired by 'The Boondocks', features scantily-clad girls, drug dealings and gory scene of shooting.

AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg celebrated two decades of his hip-hop career with his latest album "Neva Left", which was released in May. And now, the veteran rapper has revisited the project by releasing a music video for the title track off the effort.

The colorful visuals is seemingly inspired by adult animated sitcom "The Boondocks". It follows a journey of a character that resembles Snoop in an underground world that is full of violence. "Yeah, they say it you watch somethin' long enough, you'll become it/ You know, they say imitation is the best form of flattery," the rapper spits. "That's what I was told/ A lot of n***as is imitatin' this real gangsta s**t/ You ain't cut from it. You dig?"

The music video follows up visuals for "Lavender", "Promise You This", "Legend", Super Crip", "Revolution" and "Moment I Feared" off Snoop's latest album "Neva Left".

The effort didn't do quite well on music charts. However, it's hard to deny the fact that it's a masterpiece. The sixteen-track successfully brings the old school and new school of hip-hop together as it features appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Redman, Charlie Wilson, KRS-One and more.

Snoop previously described "Neva Left" as an "evolution of the Dogg," saying, "Throughout the years, I've had my hands in a lot of different projects, but music has always remained at my core. This album reflects every phase of me throughout my career."

"What I wanted to do on this record--and it was a spontaneous move-- was to make a record to engulf every phase of Snoop Dogg that you've heard over the last 25 years," he shared. "I just felt like I wanted to put out some music to represent the generation of hip-hop that I come from, just to let people know that I'm still here and I still do what I do."
