It was previously announced that season 2 of "This Is Us" would feature a guest appearance from Sylvester Stallone. The first look at the "Rocky" legend, who will play himself on the series, has made its way out online through Sylvester's Instagram account as he shares some photos taken on the set.

In one photo, the "Creed" actor poses for a selfie with series regular Justin Hartley (Kevin). Both actors can be seen filming for a fake war movie directed by Ron Howard, who also plays himself on the critically acclaimed series. "On the 'This Is Us' set with Justin Hartley, this is a fantastic show," he captions the snap, before gushing about Justin, "he is great to work with!"

His guest appearance on the series marks a reunion between "The Expendables" star and Milo Ventimiglia, who portrayed Sylvester's on-screen son in "Rocky Balboa". In another photo Sylvester posts, the pair stand next to each other while posing for the camera with a Harley Davidson motorbike in front of them. The 71-year-old actor writes, "My good buddy Milo Ventimiglia who was nice enough to invite me to be on the show #thisisus #harleydavidson."

Series creator Dan Fogelman previously revealed that Sylvester would play a "big part," especially to Kevin. Per Fogelman, Sylvester "hears what Kevin is experiencing in his life with his own father, and talks to Kevin a little bit about life and acting and memory and aging." Sylvester unfortunately is expected to appear in one episode only.

"This Is Us" season 2 kicks off on Tuesday, September 26 at 9 P.M. on NBC.
