The 'Came Here to Forget' singer loves his girlfriend's sons as much as he loves her and says that 'he will always be there for the boys' even if they break up.

Blake Shelton seems to be very in love with Gwen Stefani and her children. The 41-year-old country crooner reportedly has made a vow to his girlfriend that he will always be a father figure to her sons even if they split in the future.
According to HollywoodLife.com, Blake didn't earn Gwen's trust right away as she is very protective of her three sons, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. "She was not going to allow them to get hurt at any cost so it took her time to completely trust Blake," a source tells the website.
The source explains that the No Doubt frontwoman feels relieved since Blake is willing to be there for her sons. "She truly feels like she will be with Blake for the rest of her life till death do they part," the source says. "But what gives her even more peace is that Blake has vowed to her that he will always be a father figure to the boys no matter what happens to them."
The "Austin" singer is said to be very devoted to Gwen's children. "He told her that even if she decides to get up, dump him and break his heart, he will always be there for the boys," the source shares, before adding, "He loves them just like he loves Gwen."
It was reported that Blake didn't only see the "4 in the Morning" songstress as a girlfriend, but also as a mother figure. "He sees Gwen not only as a romantic partner in his life but she kind of is a Mom to him as well," an insider revealed. "He really looks up to her and is happy that she is this kind of person in his life, it works for him."
