Amy Schumer celebrates National Bikini Day like no one does. While other women try so hard to look beautiful in bikini by showing off their best angles, the comedienne has mocked beauty standard by posting an unflattering, candid picture of herself in a patterned purple two-piece while posing funnily for the camera.
In the snap taken from her beach outing, Amy is seen sprawling on a sun lounger. She doesn't bother to try to look appealing as she spreads her legs, treating her more than 6 million followers to a clear view of her crotch while putting a big smile on her face underneath a baseball cap and shades. "National bikini day! #wherewasmyparisfashionweekinvite," so she captions the hilarious pic.
Fans quickly shower Amy with praises. "I love how confident u are... Wish I had your confidence keep rocking that," a fan comments, while another writes, "Thanks for the brave and real humor! Thanks making sure people stay out of their comfort zone." Demi Lovato can also be spotted in the comment section, writing, "This is everything."
Amy is notoriously known for her body confidence. Last December, she slammed body shamers who said that she shouldn't play Barbie in the live-action movie because of her size. "Is it fat shaming if you know you're not fat and have zero shame in your game? I don't think so. I am strong and proud of how live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love," she wrote on Instagram.
Despite pulling out of the movie due to scheduling conflict, she added, "We need to laugh at haters and sympathize with them. They can scream as loud as they want. We can't hear them because we are getting s**t done. I am proud to lead by example. 'I say if I'm beautiful, I say if I'm strong. You will not determine my story. I will.' "
