Dania Ramirez and Gabrielle Anwar are set to star as series regulars, while Mekia Cox, Rose Reynolds and Adelaide Kane will play recurring roles.

AceShowbiz - "Once Upon a Time" is gearing up for upcoming season 7 as five new actresses have been added to the cast. The newcomers include Dania Ramirez ("Devious Maids"), Gabrielle Anwar ("Burn Notice"), Mekia Cox ("Chicago Med"), Rose Reynolds ("Wasted") and Adelaide Kane ("Reign").

Dania and Gabrielle are tapped to star as series regulars, while Mekia, Rose and Adelaide will play recurring roles. The quintet will join other additional cast members, who include Andrew J. West ("The Walking Dead") and Alison Fernandez ("Jane the Virgin"). Andrew and Alison will portray a grown-up version of Jared Gilmore's Henry and Henry's long-lost daughter Lucy respectively.

By far, there is no detail known about the characters which the new actresses will play. However, fans speculate that Dania will take the role of Lucy's mother. The speculation emerges since both Alison and Dania are of Latin American descent. The fact that Dania is tapped as series regular further strengthens the speculation.

The new additions follow the exit of original cast members Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White) and Jennifer Morrison (Emma) at the end of season 6. Also exiting ABC's fairytale fantasy drama were Jared, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin and Rebecca Mader.

Season 7 will follow the grown-up Henry and his daughter Lucy. The official logline states that they will join forces with Lana Parrilla's Regina, Colin O'Donoghue's Captain Hook and Robert Carlyle's Rumpelstiltskin as "the residents of the Enchanted Forest face their greatest challenge yet."

"Once Upon a Time" season 7 airs on Fridays at 8 P.M. this fall on ABC.
