"Pitch Perfect 3" is teased in a wrap reel that takes us behind the scenes of the production. "We're taking you on a global tour with the Bellas," says director Trish Sie, as the Bellas are seen in what looks like a casino.
It appears that there will be an accident while the girls are aboard a cruise ship as Beca (Anna Kendrick) is jumping into the water and Aubrey (Anna Camp) is panicking along with other party goers. Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson), meanwhile, gets attacked by dogs.
John Lithgow and DJ Khaled are among new additions to the cast. The veteran actor is seen filming a dancing scene with Wilson, while the hip-hop star hangs out with some military members. "Rebel and John are just like peas in a pod and DJ Khaled is amazing," Sie gushes about the stars.
The video additionally offers glimpses of the last day of filming with a lot of hugs as the stars emotionally say goodbye to each other.
Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Hailee Steinfeld, Hana Mae Lee, Shelley Regner, Kelley Jakle, Ester Dean and Elizabeth Banks return for the third installment of the musical comedy film, while Ruby Rose and Andy Allo are added as new cast members. Plot details are still kept under wraps. The movie is set for a December 22 release in the United States.
