The country crooner and the No Doubt frontwoman are said to be happy with the way things are now and plan to be together for a very long time without getting married.

AceShowbiz - Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani afraid of marriage? The couple, who has been together for a year and a half, is said to be wanting to stay together forever without getting married although everyone is expecting them to tie the knot soon.
"Blake and Gwen are having a wonderful time being together and they know everyone is waiting for them to get engaged and get married," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "And as much as they have talked about that, they have also talked about not ruining a good thing with an extra title."
The insider explains that they are hoping to be like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been together for more than 30 years without getting married. "One thing they often bring up is how they could be the modern-day Goldie and Kurt and be together forever but never get married," the insider adds. "They would be equally happy with that route as well. They are taking it all in stride and are refusing to be pressured into doing something that they don't want to do. Blake and Gwen are on the same wavelength with each other and that is why their relationship is working so well."
Wedding plans aside, Blake and Gwen seem to be very happy with each other. The "Austin" hitmaker reportedly planned to take his girlfriend on a country-boy-style romantic summer tryst. "Blake's planning to take Gwen to his place on Lake Texoma this summer," a source revealed. "He grew up spending his summers at that lake, it's only an hour from his hometown. He loves it there, especially in the summer, it's one of his favorite places on earth."
