Kendrick Lamar's latest effort "DAMN" rules Billboard 200 chart for three consecutive weeks. The set sold 173,000 equivalent album units, including 57,000 in traditional album sales in the week ending May 4, according to Nielsen Music.

"DAMN" is Lamar's first album to spend more than two weeks atop the chart. His 2015 album "To Pimp a Butterfly" spent two weeks at No. 1, while his compilation album "untitled unmastered." spent a week atop the chart in 2016.

Trailing behind is animated band Gorillaz's new album "Humanz" which debuts at No. 2 with 140,000 units. It marks the band's best sales week and third top 10 album. They previously scored a place on the top 10 with "Plastic Beach" which blasted to No. 2 in 2010 and "Demon Days" which debuted at No. 6 in 2005.

At No. 3, Mary J. Blige nabs her highest charting album in nearly seven years with "Strength of a Woman". Debuting with 78,000 units, the effort also marks the queen of hip-hop's best sales week. Her latest effort to debut on the top 10 was 2010's "Stronger With Each Tear".

Meanwhile, Drake's "More Life" falls to No. 4 with 68,000 units and Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)" slips to No. 5 with 50,000 units. The latest edition of various artists compilation series "Epic AF" starts at No. 6 with 48,000 album units. The set features eleven tracks, including DJ Khaled's new hit song "I'm the One" featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne.

Bruno Mars' "24K Magic" dips to No. 7 with 41,000 units, while the soundtrack of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is a non-mover at No. 8 with 40,000 units. At No. 9, The Chainsmokers' "Memories...Do Not Open" is back on the top 10 with 36,000 units. Rounding out the top 10 is Willie Nelson's "God's Problem Child" which lands at No. 10 with 34,000 units.
