AceShowbiz - Earlier report said that Marvel wanted to keep "Avengers 4" title secret due to its revealing nature, but it seems like someone has spilled the beans about the supposedly secret thing. During a talk with BBC at "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" press tour, "Guardians" star Zoe Saldana seemingly let "Avengers 4" title slip out.
[SPOILER ALERT!] When asked about the current status of "Avengers: Infinity War", in which the Guardians of the Galaxy will team up with the Avengers, Saldana says, "We're in the middle of it, I think that the Guardians just shot their part when it comes to 'Infinity War' is, like, the first part. And we all have to go back for 'Gauntlet' later this year." Unless Saldana was mistaken, her answer suggested that the title of the upcoming "Avengers 4" would be "Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet".
Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that "Avengers 4" title contains spoiler which will reveal "Infinity War" storyline. Thus, should "Avengers 4" be really titled "Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet", it's possible that "Infinity War" plot will mostly rely on the comics, which follow Thanos' attempt to gather the Infinity Stones. "Avengers 4", meanwhile, may see the entire deadly stones in the hands of the Mad Titan. It remains to be seen whether "Gauntlet" will be the real title of "Avengers 4".
"Avengers 4" is expected to start its principal photography right after the production of "Avengers: Infinity War". As for "Infinity War", the movie is currently filming in Atlanta and Edinburgh, Scotland.
"Avengers: Infinity War" cast members include Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Karen Gillan, Josh Brolin and Dave Bautista.
