TSoul advances to the next round after flaunting a crisp energy onstage, defeating Josh Hoyer in their well-harmonized duet of 'In the Midnight Hour' by Wilson Pickett.

AceShowbiz - As "The Voice" season 12 continued, the contestants heated up the night 3 of Battle Round which aired on Monday, March 27. Alicia Keys and fellow coaches Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were forced to send some of "The Voice" hopefuls going back home. Adam used his steal for the first time after keeping them unused in two previous nights.

Team Blake's Josh Hayer and TSoul opened the battle that night, performing "In the Midnight Hour" by Wilson Pickett. Blake had always believed that among his squad, no one was quite like TSoul. TSoul proved Blake right and defeated Josh Hayer with his crisp energy. No one stole Josh.

Next to take the stage were Autumn Turner and Vanessa Ferguson from Team Alicia. Autumn and Vanessa sang Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly with His Song" which Alicia worked on the impressive R&B arrangement with them. After much deliberation, Alicia picked Ferguson over Autumn. Adam, who said he was looking for a female artist to add to his team, decided to steal Autumn.

Johnny Hayes was next up, performing Otis Redding's "Hard to Handle" with Julien Martinez. Although it was a tricky song, both contestants were up for the challenge given by Adam and John Legend. Both flaunted a solid vocal skill but Adam decided to keep Johnny in his team. Unfortunately, none of the other coaches hit their buttons to steal Julien.

Night 3 of the Battle Round continued with Caroline Sky and Stephanie Rice from Team Gwen performing "The First Cut is the Deepest" by Cat Stevens. In the emotional performance, Caroline showcased her soft and angelic voice, while Stephanie offered an opposite charms with her husky voice. Stephanie won, while Caroline went to join Team Blake as Blake used his last steal to get Caroline.

Team Adam's Kawan DeBose and Malik Davage took the stage next, singing "Love Me Now" by John Legend with the singer himself working on the arrangement for that night's performance. They had a hard time with the band during rehearsal but they managed to overcome the hurdles that night. Adam chose Malik and none stole Kawan.

Hunter Plake and Jack Cassidy performed Robyn's "Dancing on My Own". Both served an electric ending that night with their soothing performance. Both flaunted their own strengths, making it harder for Alicia to choose one between them. Alicia eventually chose Jack to advance, while Gwen used her last steal to get Hunter on her team.

In the montage, Team Blake's Enid Ortiz beat Valerie Ponzio in their duet of "Love Triangle" by RaeLynn. Adam, meanwhile, was force to send Sheena Brook to keep Hanna Eyre in what Adam subbed "spectacular" duet singing "Try" by Pink. That night was the last night we got to see Jozy Bernadette after Troy Ramey bested him when the Team Gwen singers performed "Angel Eyes" by The Jeff Healey Band.
