Priscilla Presley has confirmed that she is taking care of Lisa Marie Presley's twins amid Lisa's messy custody battle with Michael Lockwood. Days after Lisa was reported to seek full custody of her 8-year-old twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, as her estranged husband was investigated for child abuse, Priscilla says the twins are in her custody now.
Priscilla took to Facebook to reveal that she's taking care of her granddaughters. "There is Lots of confusion, commotion and concern from all the talk circulating," she wrote. "Let me put this to rest... the girls have not been in foster care and never will be. The girls have been with me and will be until all this is sorted out."
The announcement comes after the twins' father, 55-year-old Michael, was accused of child abuse and neglect. The twins were placed in the care of California's Department of Children and Family Services after disturbing pictures of the little girls were found on Michael's computer.
"I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach," Lisa stated in court papers. "My understanding is that Tennessee law enforcement is also conducting an investigation related to the photos and videos that I discovered. I have no idea what else may be on those devices and fear that there are more and worse images and evidence in these un-analyzed devices."
