The Carters are surely getting all the spotlight in the last few days. After previously shocking everyone with Beyonce Knowles' pregnancy announcement, now The Carters make headlines with the news that 5-year-old Blue Ivy is soon going to have her own registered trademark and launching a girls' beauty line to follow in the footsteps of her mother.
Beyonce's company wants to launch a line of girls' products, including hair care, fragrance, clothing, mobile devices, video games and more under the name of Blue Ivy Carter, TMZ reports. Those products are all meant for both adults and infants. The company reportedly already filed legal docs and according to the site, it will likely be approved soon.
The 35-year-old singer had previously made a similar attempt in 2012 when Blue Ivy was just a newborn baby. However, she failed since someone had already registered a trademark on the name, Blue Ivy. This time, the singer hopes that adding Carter at the end will do the trick.
Beyonce and Jay-Z's eldest daughter has indeed shown her interest in make up. Last year, Queen Bey shared on her website and Instagram account a picture of her daughter dolling up herself. The picture featured Blue Ivy applying a fuchsia lipstick on her lips, while wearing a matching glittery dress. She also put some colorful rhinestones on her face. Blue also sported a heavy eyeliner, though she still looked adorable.
