Selena Gomez is back! After spending several months away from the spotlight, the former Disney darling made a comeback to the industry as she walked the red carpet of the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night, November 20.
The 24-year-old beauty abruptly canceled her "Revival" tour back in August due to her battle with lupus. In October, it was revealed that she had checked into a facility in Tennessee. Now, she appeared much healthier and happier at the awards show taking place at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater.
Sel looked stunning and elegant in a floor-length red gown, which was already teased by her makeup artist Hung Vanngo earlier in the day. Pulling her hair into low ponytail, the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker completed her look with a pair of diamond earrings.
Also lighting up the red carpet were Gigi Hadid and Ciara. The former, serving as a host of tonight's festivity, was gorgeous in a lacy white Cavalli gown that looked a lot like a wedding dress. She teamed the off-the-shoulder number with a metallic choker and red lips.
CiCi, meanwhile, covered her baby bump in a black turtleneck dress with a massive black and white-ruffled skirt and black Giuseppe Zanotti heels. The R&B diva, who's expecting her first child with husband Russell Wilson, was all smiles while posing for photographers.
The 2016 American Music Awards is airing live on ABC with Gigi co-hosting alongside "Saturday Night Live" alum Jay Pharoah. Other famous faces walking the event's red carpet included Keke Palmer and Bella Thorne, who flaunted their figures in their respective midriff-baring outfits, as well as Idina Menzel and Tinashe, who showed some skin in sheer dresses.
