The 'La La Land' actress also discusses the critically-acclaimed film and reveals she's been getting paid equally for her latest movies in the interview with the magazine.

AceShowbiz - Emma Stone is barely recognizable on the cover of Vogue. Gracing the magazine's front page for its November issue, the actress rocks short hair and shows of her freckles as she wears minimal make-up while baring her midriff in a long-sleeved, blue-and-white crop-top.

Stone discusses various topics with the publication, including his ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield whom she simply describes as "someone I still love very much." As everyone knows, the couple began dating while working together on "The Amazing Spider-Man" and ended their four-year relationship last year.

They remain good friends, though. Back in August, the two exes were spotted reuniting in London. They looked happy as they chatted and walked next to each other around the city's Covent Garden.

In the interview with Vogue, Stone also talks about her new movie "La La Land" and getting paid equally. The critically-acclaimed film marks her third time to have starred alongside Ryan Gosling, following 2011's "Crazy, Stupid, Love." and 2013's "Gangster Squad".

"It was nice to be friends with the person you're doing all this crazy stuff with - learning to ballroom dance or sing duets live," she says of working with Gosling on the romantic musical comedy-drama.

Of the talk about the gender wage gap in Hollywood, Stone says she's been making the same amount of money her male co-stars have in her latest films, which also include "Battle of the Sexes" with Steve Carell and "Aloha" with Bradley Cooper.

"We should all be treated fairly and paid fairly," Stones tells the magazine. "I've been lucky enough to have equal pay to my male co-stars - Not 'lucky.' I've had pay equal to my male co-stars in the past few films."

"But our industry ebbs and flows in a way that's like, 'How much are you bringing into the box office?' 'How much are you the draw or is the other person the draw?' " she continues. "I felt uncomfortable talking to my agent or lawyer about it because I was like, 'Do people want to see me as much as they want to see Steve Carell?' It's a weird conversation to have because it's trying to see oneself from the outside."
