Benedict Cumberbatch has seemingly confirmed Doctor Strange's appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok". While director Taika Waititi neither denied nor confirmed the speculation about the Sorcerer Supreme's cameo in the third "Thor" movie, the 40-year-old actor may have cleared things up during his chat with Tom Hiddleston for Interview magazine.

Asked by the Loki depicter about how he felt after joining the MCU, the "Sherlock" star replied, "I felt it was all about the part rather than everything else." He continued, "I've been to Comic-Con, and it's a very nice way to give back to the fans that drive these things. It was quite scary. I felt like Pink Floyd. It's just like, 'Hello, hi,' after the fans are all screaming. That side of it is just phenomenal, and it makes me giggle, and I don't know whether I'll get used to that."

Benedict mentioned that he was "also part of" Tom's crew which might refer to the crew of "Thor: Ragnarok". "I can't wait to see how it expands the universe," he said. "I'm also part of your crew! It's an amazing cast of actors." He added, "And it's the most fun hard work you'll ever do, I think, as an actor. They really know how to treat you right. And the material is challenging, witty, and a lot of fun to do. Doctor Strange is a complex, funny, but exciting character."

"Thor: Ragnarok" will arrive in U.S. theaters on November 3, 2017. The follow-up to "Thor: The Dark World" also stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo. They are joined by "Jurassic Park" star Sam Neill.

Meanwhile, "Doctor Strange" opens on November 4. Benedict is joined by Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Amy Landecker in the cast.
