AceShowbiz - Backstreet Boys is heading to Las Vegas, Billboard learns. A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell are booked for a residency show in the Sin City at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

"If you've ever been to a Backstreet Boys show ... it's going to be that on steroids," Littrell said. Bandmate Richardson added, "We're going to call the show Larger Than Life, and we're taking that theme and we're going to run with it."

The boyband follows the footsteps of Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez. Although they haven't released an album since 2013's "In a World Like This", they have been actively touring the country. They hit the road with another group New Kids On The Block from 2011 to 2012. They then traveled on their own until 2015.

BSB has announced an 18-date trial residency starting March 1 2017. The dates are as follows:

  • March: 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18
  • June: 14, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30
  • July: 1
