AceShowbiz - Backstreet Boys are kicking off the holiday season with a new music video. On Tuesday, November 1, the boy band released the visuals for their cover of Wham!'s 1984 classic, "Last Christmas".
In the clip, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson can be seen recording the song together in a studio. They also pose for promotional pictures for their upcoming project.
The cover appears on Backstreet Boys' tenth studio album, "A Very Backstreet Christmas". The project was initially set to hit music streaming services in 2021, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The group eventually dropped it on October 14.
When promoting their latest offering on Instagram, the group gushed, "Let the most wonderful time of the year BEGIN!" They continued, " 'A Very Backstreet Christmas' is OUT NOW! Listen now at the link in bio! #AVeryBackstreetChristmas."
Prior to releasing the "Last Christmas" music video, Backstreet Boys announce the dates of their shows in Asia as a part of "DNA World Tour". The five musicians will perform in Tokyo, Japan from 14-16 and move to Kaohsiung, Taiwan on February 18. They will later fly to Manila, the Philippines on February 20 and wrapped it up in Singapore two days later.
"New tour dates added," so read the caption of the post. "This February, the #DNAWorldTour is heading to Asia! We've got six awesome shows planned for you all! [a black heart emoji] Visit backstreetboys.com for all of the info!"
Backstret Boys themselves have another exciting thing to offer for fans. They will bring the album to life in their very own Christmas special, "A Very Backstreet Holiday", which will air on December 14 at 8 P.M. ET on ABC.
