AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck is reportedly boozing again. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor is drinking heavily these days. He allegedly looked "disheveled" while walking through LAX on September 2.
An eyewitness tells Star Magazine, "He looked like a shambling bum... He was bloated, red-faced and disheveled. All I could think of was, this is the guy who plays Bruce Wayne?" According to the mag, "friends fear that the culprit behind Ben's haggard appearance is booze."
A source claims, "At 44 years old, the guy can't drink all night and bounce back the way he used to. He's drinking as much as ever." The outlet points out that Ben, who was in rehab for alcohol 15 years ago, was drunk during his appearance on "Any Given Wednesday" back in June.
While a representative for Ben hasn't commented on the report yet, a mutual friend of the actor tells Gossip Cop that he's not drinking and the latest Star story is "fabricated."
The report comes after Ben was rumored to have had a big fight with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner after he was caught texting his ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. A source told Star that the incident happened while the pair were celebrating his birthday with their kids in Montana last month.
"[He] kept slipping away to check his phone, and Jen eventually began to wonder who it was he felt compelled to contact so often," the source claimed, "Everyone thought she and Ben were on the road to reconciliation. But his reaching out to J. Lo made her question what's really going through Ben's mind, not to mention his heart."
