'Suicide Squad' Soundtrack Tops Billboard 200 Chart

The all-star soundtrack for the DC supervillain movie debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 182,000 total copies sold this week.

AceShowbiz - "Suicide Squad: The Album" debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart with a very impressive start. The record has 182,000 total copies sold this week, including 128,000 in traditional album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

The "Suicide Squad" soundtrack, which features new recordings by Twenty One Pilots, Skrillex, Rick Ross, Zayn Malik, Kehlani and Panic! at the Disco, is the first No. 1 soundtrack in a year on the Billboard 200 since Disney's "The Descendants" in 2015. The record also bows at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart.

At No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 is Drake's "Views" with 73,000 units. Rock band Skillet's "Unleashed" debuts at No. 3 with 62,000 units. Blake Shelton's "If I'm Honest" rises to No. 4 with 49,000 units, while the new "Now 59" compilation debuts at No. 5 with 48,000 units.

Other titles making up this week's top 10 include Twenty One Pilots' "Blurryface" which slips to No. 6 with 46,000 units, DJ Khaled's "Major Key" which plunges to No. 7 with 43,000 units, DJ Snake's "Encore" that debuts at No. 8 with 32,000 units, Rihanna's "Anti" that drops to No. 9 with 29,000 units and Adele's "25" which descends to No. 10 with 27,000 units.
