Tony will celebrate his 90th birthday with a concert called 'Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come', airing on NBC in December.

AceShowbiz - Tony Bennett is going to celebrate his 90th birthday with a special concert on NBC called "Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come". Lady GaGa, Stevie Wonder and Elton John are among the all-star lineup who will perform with Tony at the tribute concert.

Also set to perform with Tony are Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Billy Joel, Diana Krall, k.d. lang and Rufus Wainwright. Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Kevin Spacey, John Travolta, Bruce Willis and animated character Homer Simpson will also appear to honor the 19-time Grammy winner.

Tony said in a statement, "I turn 90 tomorrow and feel like I'm just getting started and look forward to each day. I have loved performing for the public and sharing the music I love with the world. It's a thrill to have NBC air a special in honor of my birthday and to have so many wonderful artists that I have worked with and admire participate."

Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, added, "Since we celebrated Tony's 80th birthday on NBC, it only seemed fitting that we should also stop and pay tribute to his 90th, a true milestone for the greatest living vocalist of popular music. Happy birthday, Tony, your achievements are epic and your voice has been the soundtrack of four generations. We and the entire music business are in awe."

Jerry Foley will direct the tribute concert, which will air on NBC on December 20 at 9 P.M., while Tony's son Danny Bennett will serve as executive producer.
