Blake Shelton is coming to his girlfriend Gwen Stefani's defense amidst report that her opening concert in Boston was empty. The "Sangria" hitmaker makes it clear on Twitter that the first night of "This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour" had more than enough fans to fill the stadium.

Blake shares some photos of the crowd at the Xfinity Center taken during the Thursday, July 12 show. One of them shows a packed house. "That's right everybody.. No matter how good your eye site is @gwenstefani show was 'empty' lastnight," he captions it.

Perez Hilton previously reported that in order to make the arena seemed packed, the venue cut off the lawn - which seats thousands - and relocated the audience to the front. He also quoted sources who claimed Live Nation reps were giving out free tickets outside the venue after failing to sell four tickets for only $40.
