AceShowbiz - Sinead O'Connor was found safe on Monday, May 16 by police in Wilmette, a Chicago suburb, after being reported as missing on Sunday. According to a statement from the Wilmette Police Department, Sinead was found safe around 1:45 P.M. CT and "is no longer considered a missing person."

While Wilmette PD did not say where the "Nothing Compares 2 U" hitmaker was found or she had been, a source told WGN that she was found at a hotel and taken to a nearby hospital. She has been staying in Wilmette with a friend since January, a source told NBC News.

Wilmette PD previously announced they were "seeking to check the well-being" of Sinead after a concerned caller reported that the singer had not been seen since 6:00 A.M. on Sunday after she decided to go for a bike ride in the city. Authorities believed the singer could be suicidal.

At the time, Sinead reportedly wore leather pants, a sweatshirt and a black parka while riding on Raleigh motorized bicycle.

Following the news of Sinead missing, Josh Groban shared his concern on Twitter, hoping she would soon be found.
