AceShowbiz - The first five performers for the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards have just been announced. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and Cam are set to make merry the 51st annual ACM Awards this year.
The 2016 ACM Awards is scheduled to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3 on CBS. The prize-giving event will be co-hosted by country music singers Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. More musical guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
Chris Stapleton leads this year's nominees with seven nominations. Eric Church and Cam follow with six nods each. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley receive at least one nomination as well.
