AceShowbiz - Just a few days after Miranda Lambert debuted him on Instagram as her new love interest, Anderson East made his own headline. The 27-year-old musician had a skiing accident while the pair vacationed in Aspen over the New Year holiday.
Lambert and East hit the slopes together when he fell. "It was a nasty fall but Miranda was there and helped him heal, took him to get treated," an insider told Us Weekly. "So it wasn't quite the fun holiday trip they wanted, but they were still happy to be together and he's really happy she was there nursing him by his side and making sure he was OK."
East reportedly broke his collarbone in the fall but has returned to Nashville with Lambert. The source added, "He's been in a lot of pain but [is] going to rest and heal up now that they're back home. It was still great to be together, happy and in love over the holidays despite the accident, and they are looking forward to a good new year together."
Lambert and East have been dating for a few months now. Last week, she posted a photo of them embracing each other in chilly weather. "The snuggle is real..," she captioned it. This relationship with East is supposedly Lambert's first since her divorce from Blake Shelton in July 2015.
