The singer's version of the classic originally sung by Wham! sounds like something from her recent album 'E.Mo.Tion'.

AceShowbiz - As the holiday season approaches, Carly Rae Jepsen makes sure her fans have a song from her that's appropriate for the celebration. Just a day after announcing it, the Canadian singer released on Friday, November 20 at midnight her cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas".
Jepsen's version of the song was apparently inspired by the sound of her latest album, "E.Mo.Tion". She wonderfully turned the classic into an '80s jazzy tune featuring her signature vocals over the clapping and saxophone.
"Last Christmas" was originally written in 1984 by George Michael. Other contemporary artists like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Hilary Duff have previously covered the track.
