Janet Jackson returns to the top spot of Billboard 200 with her comeback album "Unbreakable". Nielsen Music reports that the singer's latest studio effort, her first since 2008's "Discipline", lands atop the list with 116,000 equivalent album units sold in its first week, including 109,000 in pure album sales.
With "Unbreakable", which marks her seventh chart-topping album on Billboard 200, Jackson becomes only the third act to earn No. 1 records in each of the last four decades. In addition to "Disclipline", she previously hit the top spot with 2001's "All For You", 1997's "The Velvet Rope", 1993's "janet.", 1989's "Rhythm Nation 1814" and 1986's "Control".
Trailing behind Jackson is The Weeknd, whose former first placer "Beauty Behind the Madness" jumps from last week's No. 5 to this week's No. 2 with 73,000. Drake and Future's "What a Time to Be Alive", meanwhile, slips one rung to No. 3 with 65,000. Fetty Wap's self-titled debut LP follows at No. 4, falling from last week's top slot with 64,000 in its second week.
Tamar Braxton closes out the top 5 as her new album "Calling All Lovers" starts with 43,000 units, including 38,000 copies of pure album. She last visited the region in 2013, when her "Love and War" debuted at No. 2 with 114,000.
Taylor Swift's "1989" spends its 50th week inside the top 10, bowing at No. 6 with 38,000 units. Other titles making up the top 10 are Thomas Rhett's "Tangled Up" (No. 7 with 32,000), George Strait's "Cold Beer Conversation" (No. 8 with 32,000), Luke Bryan's "Kill the Lights" (No. 9 with 30,000) and Don Henley's "Cass County" (No. 10 with 29,000).
