AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer, an outspoken advocate for gun control, tackled the topic during her hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live" October 10. The comedienne appeared in a fake commercial that mocked gun enthusiasts.
The mock ad showed how guns could be perfect accessory, toy and gift for every person in every situation. "Guns are there - in little moments and big ones. When things fall apart or it all comes together, they unite us, comfort us, bring us joy and strength - from first loves to new beginnings," it said.
Meanwhile, in her monologue, Schumer talked about being a woman in Hollywood and riffed the Kardashians, whom she dubbed "a whole family of women that take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion."
In another sketch, the Emmy-winning actress played a sexy teacher who seduced her student, played by Kyle Mooney. She also played a flight attendant with cast member Vanessa Bayer in "Delta Flight" sketch.
The latest episode of "SNL" featured The Weeknd as a musical performer, with Nicki Minaj joining him for a surprise appearance.
