Having had his divorce to Miranda Lambert being finalized in late July, Blake Shelton has admitted that he is now "in a good place". The 39-year-old country star and "The Voice" coach talked about his life post-breakup in an interview on CMT Hot 20 Countdown on Saturday, October 3.

"I'm in a good place," he said on the show. "I wasn't but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that've happened and I'm loving it," he elaborated.

During the same interview, Shelton also talked about his noticeable weight loss. "I would like to sit here and tell you that I've been exercising, but I haven't been," he told CMT. Not revealing how many pounds he's shed in recent months, the country crooner had joked in a recent radio interview that he's been on a "divorce diet."
