Dishing on her role on the FOX hit drama, the 'Shower' singer says her character is 'feisty' and is unlike her 'sweet' self.

AceShowbiz - Becky G is one of the new additions for the second season of "Empire". Met at a special Carnegie Hall event for the show in New York City on Saturday night, September 12, she was willing to share with EW several details about her role.

"Well, I play Valentina, and let's just put it this way: they were calling me baby Cookie [Taraji P. Henson] on set. I'm feisty," she gushed about her character, adding that Valentina "is a totally different person" from her real self who is "sweet and excited."

The 18-year-old singer hinted that her character would bring drama. "There's a lot of drama. In these next few episodes - and even stuff that I'm not going to be in but I was reading in the script - I was like, 'I can't believe this is going to go down. Everybody's going to be so surprised.' But yeah, especially my scenes, for sure," she teased.

At the live stream event on Saturday night, the cast previewed their upcoming musical performances in the new season of the drama series.

"Empire" returns with new episodes Wednesday, September 23 at 9 P.M. on FOX. The show has cast Adam Rodriguez as Cookie's new love interest, Chris Rock as a prison inmate of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), Ludacris as a prison guard, Pitbull as himself, Marisa Tomei as Mimi Whiteman, a billionaire lesbian who gets involved with Lucious' family business, Kelly Rowland as Lucious' mother, and Vivica A. Fox as Cookie's sister.

Mariah Carey is also set to appear on the hit series, likely to be featured in the season finale.
