AceShowbiz - "Empire" is adding Pitbull to its celebrity guest list. The rapper is set to make a guest appearance as himself, performing "No Doubt About It" with Jussie Smollett's Jamal Lyon in the upcoming second season of the popular hip-hop drama series.
The sophomore season is scheduled to kick off on September 23 on FOX. Pitbull joins a slew of A-list guests like Chris Rock, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Marisa Tomei, Lenny Kravitz, Ludacris, Adam Rodriguez, and recently-confirmed Mariah Carey.
Tomei will play a Forbes-list billionaire who loves hip-hop, social trends, high-end fashion, and beautiful women. Rodriguez is cast as a new love interest for Taraji P. Henson's Cookie whose rekindled romance with ex-husband Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) fell apart at the end of the first season. Rowland is coming as Lucious' mother.
