Cara Delevingne addressed the awkward interview where she got called out for allegedly looking unexcited. The actress who will play Enchantress in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" tweeted, "Some people just don't understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour."
Fellow British star Boy George showed his support by replying to her tweet, "I do :)." The model-turned-actress also got defended by former "Scrubs" actor Zach Braff and "Game of Thrones" actress Maisie Williams.
Braff replied to Delevinge's tweet, "Or how it's condescending to ask an actress if she's read the book," as he referred to the interviewer's question. Williams agreed, "Good for you @Caradelevingne. Ask a lazy question, get a lazy answer."
During the interview to promote her new movie "Paper Towns", Cara Delevingne initially joked in response to the question, "Uh, no I never read the book, or the script. I kind of winged it," but she later added a more serious note, "John Green is an incredible author, so really if you haven't read his books, you should."
