Avicii is apparently trying to repeat the success of his hit "Wake Me Up" featuring Aloe Blacc. The Swedish DJ has teamed up with Zac Brown Band for another country-tinged track called "Broken Arrows" which he premiered earlier this week via his Le7els Podcast.

The song highlights Zac Brown's twangy vocals while Avicii keeps his flashes to a minimum. "Cause it's not too late, it's not too late/ I see the hope in your heart/ And sometimes you lose it, sometimes you're shooting/ Broken arrows in the dark/ But I see the hope in your heart," he sings in the chorus.

"Broken Arrows" has been confirmed as a cut off Avicii's new album "Stories" which still has no official release date but is expected to arrive sometime this year. Serving as a follow-up to his acclaimed debut set "True", it will also reportedly boast guest appearances from Matisyahu, System of a Down's Serj Tankian, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Coldplay's Chris Martin among others.

"It's going to be a lot more song-oriented. True was an attempt at that, getting electronic music in a song format," Avicii has said of his upcoming project.
