Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin were full of joy on Wednesday, June 17, as they welcomed a baby boy. The proud parents shared the happy news with their followers on their respective Instagram account.
The duo posted an identical picture with the same caption on Instagram. The picture showed the baby's hand holding his mother's ring finger. The touching image was posted alongside a caption which revealed the name of the baby. It read, "We are happy to announce the birth of Rafael Thomas Baldwin."
Alec couldn't hide his happiness after his wife gave birth to baby Rafael as he was spotted smiling ear to ear outside the hospital. The 57-year-old actor also shared the joy with his dogs. He was seen kissing and hugging his pets.
Baby Rafael is Alec and Hilaria's second child together. The couple's first child, Carmen, was born on August 23, 2013. The "Blue Jasmine" actor also has a 19-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
Hilaria first announced that she was expecting their second child in December 2014. She then hinted at the baby's sex via an Instagram picture she posted in January 2015.
