Hilaria faced intense scrutiny after a video surfaced from the grand opening of Planet Hollywood, showing her sternly correcting Alec during an interview.

Hilaria has since taken to Instagram to address the criticism. In a video where they mimed along to the controversial footage, Hilaria asked Alec, "And that is called, what's the word of the day?" Alec wittily responded, "Manterrupting."

Hilaria elaborated, "The whole point is that we interrupt each other all the time or sometimes our kids interrupt," unapologetically embracing the chaotic nature of their household.

As if on cue, one of their seven children made their presence known by banging on the bedroom door and calling out for "mommy."

Hilaria used this moment to emphasize the constant interruptions in their daily lives. She jestingly told Alec, "And now that we cleared all of that up, give me a kiss," before ending the clip to tend to their children.

But the humor didn't stop there. In another Instagram video, the couple continued their playful banter and showed their ability to laugh off public criticism.

Hilaria, cuddling next to a sleepy Alec, whispered, "I'm having a lot of women tell me they'd treat me better than I'd treat you - do you want to make a change?" Alec, in a deadpan reply, said, "Yeah, I think this isn't working."

During the viral interview, Hilaria rebuked Alec after he interrupted her, "When I'm talking, you're not talking." She also said, "Oh my God! Stop, you're annoying me. Stop. It's not cute. No, he's distracting me."
