Turning 29, Mary-Kate Olsen and twin sister Ashley Olsen threw an Olympic-themed birthday party. They invited some closest friends and had fun Olsen Olympics during the party.
The guests posted some pictures of the party on Instagram with the hashtag #OlsenOlympics. It appeared on the pictures that the guests were divided into two groups, Team Ashley and Team Mary-Kate. Moreover, they were required to wear special T-shirts, on which the team's name was written, throughout the event. The birthday girls were also seen wearing their respective T-shirt. Team Ashley appeared in blue T-shirt while Team Mary-Kate in red one.
According to a picture posted by Jared L. Seligman, a guest in the party, Team Ashley was the winner in the competition. A caption for that picture, indicating that the blue team was the winner, read, "Champions #teamashley #olsenolympics #twinning #sorrymk."
Though Jared was spotted supporting Team Ashley, he also posted a picture of him with Mary-Kate with a birthday message which read, "Happy Birthday my beautiful MK. You will always be a winner in my book.. Except today #olsenolympics #werenumber1."
Another picture also showed the decoration of the field on which the game was held. A happy birthday poster was set up on the field, including the Olympic logo and images of medals with Mary-Kate and Ashley's names.
The twins are currently busy with their career as fashion designers. Earlier this month, the two won womenswear designer of the year at the 2015 CFDA Awards. The two want to focus on growing their fashion empire. Therefore, they won't be appearing on the upcoming "Fuller House" series.
