"House of Cards" season 3 wasn't supposed to arrive until February 27, but due to "a technical glitch" fans of the show were able to watch the new season two weeks earlier. On Wednesday afternoon, February 11, 10 of the 13 episodes of the show's season 3 were accidentally released on Netflix.

However, 20 minutes later the streaming service pulled all available season 3 episodes. They released a statement through a representative addressing the leak, "Due to a technical glitch, some Frank Underwood fans got a sneak peek. He'll be back on Netflix on Feb. 27."

Additionally, "House of Cards" official Twitter account was updated with a humorous message which read, "This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27."

"House of Cards" revolves around Kevin Spacey's Francis J. "Frank" Underwood, a ruthless and conniving politician who pursues only his own political agenda and manipulates everyone around him to grab influence and prestige. At the end of the last season, he has finally achieved what he had been intending to do his whole life. He was sworn in as the president of the United States after the previous POTUS resigned.

Spacey won his first Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV series - Drama for his role on the political drama at this year's ceremony which took place on January 11. Robin Wright, who stars as Frank's wife, was also nominated for Best Actress in a TV series - Drama at the event but lost it to "The Affair" leading lady Ruth Wilson.
