In a tweet, Kendrick confirms she's booked for a special Oscar performance 'that is sure to be an 'Only on the Oscars' moment.'

AceShowbiz - The highly anticipated 87th Oscars will be having Anna Kendrick as additional performer. The actress-singer has been confirmed to be part of the annual awards show and she herself couldn't be more excited to share the news.
In a post on her Twitter, Kendrick shared, "Excited to announce @TheAcademy has invited me to be part of a special performance at the #Oscars on Feb. 22nd!" The announcement was confirmed by the show's producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron who said in a statement, "Out of the woods and on to the Oscar stage, Anna will be performing something special that is sure to be an 'Only on the Oscars' moment."
No word yet on what Kendrick will be performing. One thing for sure she joins a long list of performers, which among others included Tim McGraw, Jack Black, and Tegan and Sara.
In other Oscars news, it was announced on Monday, February 9 that Scarlett Johansson, Octavia Spencer, Zoe Saldana, and Josh Hutcherson were added to the list of presenters. They will join previously announced presenters like Benedict Cumberbatch, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, and Marion Cotillard just to name a few.
