Netflix's comedy 'OITNB' already bagged two prizes from the event, while the coming-of-age drama movie snatched best supporting actress trophy for Patricia Arquette's performance.

AceShowbiz - The SAG-AFTRA has been handing out prizes to some winners at the ongoing Screen Actors Guild Awards. Bryan Cranston was the first presenter that night, announcing the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series which went to "Orange Is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba.

The actress was overwhelmed with emotion as she delivered her speech. "I want to thank Jenji Kohan for writing a show like this and putting something like this on television, not just for myself, but for our incredible team of actors to be seen in such a beautiful way," she said while holding back tears. "I want to say a huge massive thanks to our cast, without whom this is not possible. I love you guys so desperately, so much. This is not done without you, any step of the way."

Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the Netflix hit series, added, "Finally I just really, really, really truly want to say, the day I got this job was the day I stopped acting and to be in a room with all you amazing human beings, amazing talents, for what I respect so much and love so much, is really truly the greatest honor. Thank you so very much. God bless you all."

Aduba later returned to the stage to accept Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with her cast mates. "Thank you so much. We are incredibly grateful for this tremendous honor," she said.

William H. Macy was another early winner at the event, being honored with Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on "Shameless". He cracked a joke in his short speech, saying, "I have written so many great acceptance speeches that I never got to give, but not tonight. To my fellow nominees...ah, forget it, you lost." He thanked the show's cast and crew and said to his wife Felicity Huffman, "Flicka, I love going to bed with you, too."

The first prize in movie category, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, went to Patricia Arquette who stars in "Boyhood". She said onstage, "I can't tell you what this means to me. I'm a fourth-generation actor. My family have been committed actors for over a century, through feast or famine. My father, Lewis Arquette, taught me to approach work with compassion and gratitude, and taught me also how hard it is to make a living as an actor."

"Whiplash" also took a prize in Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role category for J.K. Simmons' performance as Terence Fletcher, a conductor at the Shaffer Conservatory.

Mark Ruffalo nabbed the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries title through his role in HBO's telepic "The Normal Heart", while Frances McDormand was named Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for her title role on HBO's miniseries "Olive Kitteridge".

More winners will be announced at the 21st Annual SAG Awards which is held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
