Renee Zellweger stepped out in public for the first time following her much-talked appearance at a recent event. The actress, whose different look made headline following the red carpet event, went make-up free when she was out and about in Mississippi over the weekend alongside her boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II.

Wearing a casual clothing which consisted of gray top, black pants and sneakers, the "Chicago" actress was all smiles when she came across paparazzi. "Oh my God, you're going to ask me that question! Can you excuse me please? I have better things to do and I'm sure you do too," Zellweger said when she was asked about her face, as quoted by Daily Mail. "I'd just like to have my day to myself if you don't mind."

Many people talked about Zellweger's different look when she attended ELLE's Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration last week. In response to the buzz, the 45-year-old actress told PEOPLE that she looked different because of more relaxing lifestyle.

"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows," she said the next day. "People don't know me in my 40s. People don't know me [as] healthy for a while. Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I'm happy."

Zellweger next stars in "Same Kind of Different as Me" alongside Djimon Hounsou. The drama, based on a nonfiction book by Ron Hall, Denver Moore and Lynn Vincent, started production on October 27 in Jackson, Miss. According to Deadline, Jon Voight and Greg Kinnear are joining the cast ensemble.
