The 'Men in Black 3' actor will return to host 'Saturday Night Live' on October 11 with Hozier as a performer.

AceShowbiz - "Saturday Night Live" announces third host for the upcoming season 40. Bill Hader who left the variety show last year after eight seasons will return as a host for the first time on October 11. He will be accompanied by indie band Hozier as a musical guest.

The new cycle will kick off September 27 with "Guardians of the Galaxy" hunk Chris Pratt as the emcee and continue October 4 with comedienne Sarah Silverman as the host. It will become their first acting gig on the NBC sketch show for both.

The "Parks and Recreation" star will be joined by first-time musical guest Ariana Grande on the season premiere, while the "A Million Ways to Die in the West" actress will have Maroon 5 as the performer. The band will make their fifth appearance as performer.

The show will return without longtime announcer Don Pardo who passed away in August at the age of 96. "Weekend Update" will be hosted by Michael Che replacing Cecily Strong, while Nasim Pedrad left to star in FOX's "Mulaney". Two new members Noel Wells and John Milhiser were dropped from the show.
