Autopsy Reveals Kidd Kraddick Died of Cardiac Disease

Preliminary autopsy results show that Kraddick had an enlarged heart caused by cardiac disease.

AceShowbiz - Kidd Kraddick died of cardiac disease. Deputy coroner Granville Morse, M.D. said, according to the preliminary autopsy results, the Radio and television host had an enlarged heart and blocked arteries that could cause an irregular heartbeat.

Kraddick was pronounced dead at 1:30 P.M. at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans' West Bank Facility on Saturday, July 27. He went to see doctor when falling ill when attending a golf event for his Kidd's Kids charity. He was 53 and would have turned 54 on August 22.

Final autopsy results will be released after toxicology tests are completed. The tests are expected to take one to two weeks.

Kraddick's friends admitted the radio host wasn't looking well when preparing for the charity event but they never expected his death. His friend/co-host Kellie Rasberry told radio listeners, "I asked the doctor, 'Did he suffer?' and 'Was he in pain?' and he said, 'No'."

Many celebrities like Kelly Clarkson and Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas who became his guests tweeted condolences on Twitter. Fellow radio/TV personality Ryan Seacrest wrote, "So sad hearing about my radio brother Kid Kraddick. One of a kind and one of the best at what he did every morning. U will be missed Kidd."
