Maroon 5 Are the First Act Confirmed for Grammy Nominations Concert

The Adam Levine-fronted pop rock band will take the stage at the Bridgestone Arene in Nashville as part of the Grammy Nomination Live!! gig on December 5.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 are up for a live performance in Nashville this coming December. The Adam Levine-fronted band have been chosen to take the stage at the Grammy Nominations Live!! concert, which serves as a platform to announce Grammy nominees from some major categories.

The Los Angeles-based pop rock band, who have won three Grammys, become the first act confirmed for the special event, which has tapped LL Cool J as the host. The show itself is moved to Tennessee from Los Angeles, where it took place for the past four years.

Scheduled to be held at the Bridgestone Arena, the Grammy Nominations concert will air live on CBS at 10 P.M. ET/PT on Wednesday, December 5. It will feature performances from past Grammy nominees and winners.

Pre-sale tickets for the upcoming show are available from Tuesday, September 18, while tickets for general public will be on sale on Friday, September 21 via www.ticketmaster.com or via Ticketmaster charge-by-phone lines at 800.745.3000.

Last year's Grammy Nominations performers included the likes of Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Usher, Ludacris, Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Lupe Fiasco and The Band Perry.

The 2013 Grammys is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 10 next year at Los Angeles' Staples Center. It will air live on CBS at 8 P.M. ET/PT.
